International Day of Healthy Eating, which is celebrated 16 October every year, reminds us once again of the problems, associated with poor nutrition and its consequences.

Firstly, A healthy diet offers the body all the nutrients it needs, so that it can function properly. Important to note, that such nutrition does not mean giving up certain foods or strict diets. It's more about a balanced approach, which includes a wide range of products and takes into account the individual needs of each person.

Secondly, Healthy eating helps maintain normal weight and prevent obesity. Excess calories and consumption of high-calorie foods, but nutritionally empty products, such as fast food and sweets, can lead to excess weight, which increases the risk of various diseases.

The third aspect of healthy eating – it strengthens the immune system. Proper nutrition enriches the body with antioxidants and other substances, which help fight various infections.
