1 March - International Day against Drug Abuse

Drugs are one of the most destructive evils, which can devour a person, depriving him of his health, families, future and even life. They carry the danger of addiction, destroying not only the physical, but also human mental health. Therefore it is important to understand, that giving up drugs is not only a health choice, but also a decision to preserve one’s own dignity and freedom.

Drug use leads to family breakdown, loss of job and impossibility of career and personal growth. Losing control over yourself, with your actions and your life, which can have long-term and unpredictable consequences.

There are many reasons to say no to drugs, and each of them is important for ensuring a healthy and happy life.

Saying “no” to drugs means taking responsibility for your life and your future.. This means showing willpower and self-confidence, giving up easy ways and choosing a healthy lifestyle. After all, drugs can deceive, promising temporary comfort or euphoria, but always leave behind destruction and suffering.

Saying no to drugs means protecting your family., relatives and friends from pain and grief, that addiction brings. This means maintaining the love and respect of others, showing your strength and determination to resist temptations. After all, every refusal from drugs is a step towards a happier and healthier life for yourself and your loved ones.

Saying “no” to drugs means supporting yourself and others, who might be in danger. This is what it means to be a hero, who is able to resist negative influences and protect his health and well-being. After all, every person has the right to a happy and healthy life, and only giving up drugs will help preserve this right.

The fight against drugs begins with each of us. We can contribute, giving up drug use, supporting those, who needs help, and educating society about the dangers of drug addiction. Today we say no to drugs, to build a healthy and safe future tomorrow for ourselves and our descendants.
