Epidemiological situation for head lice

AT 2020 year in g. Gomel registered 198 cases of head lice, including 161 (81,3%) in children before 17 years and 37 (18,7%) in adults. Most often, head lice is detected in schoolchildren of the age category from 7 to 14 years old – 108 cases (67,1%). У взрослых педикулез чаще регистрируется среди неработающих граждан – 24 case or 64,9% . During the year, head lice was detected by medical workers of educational institutions – 60 cases (30,3%), specialists of the Gomel Regional Center for Preventive Disinfection - 51 case (25,8%), медицинскими работниками амбулаторно-поликлинических организаций – 44 (22,7%,), by medical workers of hospital organizations - 38 (19,2%).
