"Protect Yourself From COVID-19 Infection"

Specialists of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus made changes to the procedure for vaccination against COVID-19 of the population. It is determined that:

– main (primary) vaccination is carried out for children 5-17 years with two doses of SINOPHARM vaccine (China);

– for adults (18 years and older) – one dose SPUTNIK LIGHT, two doses of Gam-COVID-Vac (Sputnik V) or SINOPHARM (China).

Booster vaccination against COVID-19 is the most relevant today.

Booster vaccination against COVID-19 is provided to individuals 18 years and older through 6 and more than months after the completion of the main (primary) vaccination and (or) previous booster vaccination with one dose of SPUTNIK LITE vaccine or one dose of Gam-COVID-Vac (component 1 or component 2 regardless of the previously used primary vaccine (primary) or booster vaccination).

Бустерная вакцинация может быть сделана после выздоровления пациента, в том числе после перенесенной инфекции COVID-19, and (or) completion of isolation (if necessary).

Co-administration of COVID-19 vaccine and influenza vaccine is allowed (except live vaccine).

It is currently possible to get a vaccine against COVID-19 at the outpatient healthcare organization at the place of residence after passing a medical examination.

Vaccination is carried out after informing the patient (his legal representative) about the infection, which is being vaccinated against, the name of the vaccine, presence of contraindications, patterns and features of the course of the post-vaccination period and obtaining consent in accordance with the law.
